Founder Michelle grew up immersed in the design industry, spending summers at her family's retail store folding draperies alongside her mother and learning firsthand the importance of craftsmanship, attention to detail, and treating customers like family. Those early experiences shaped the personalized approach that continues to define Missa Designs today.

With more than 35 years of experience in window treatments and interior design, Michelle has guided clients through every stage of the design process - from selecting fabrics, colors, and styles to creating spaces that feel elegant, functional, and uniquely personal.

After decades in the family business, Michelle and her husband founded Missa Designs with a vision of creating a boutique-style company centered around a more personal, flexible, and relationship-driven experience. As parents of three children, family has always remained at the heart of everything they do, and the business was built with the same values of connection, trust, and care that they bring into their own home.

Today, Michelle is passionate about helping clients transform their homes into spaces that reflect their lifestyle and personality while making the entire process feel seamless, enjoyable, and inspiring from start to finish.

Dominique's journey began in 1988 when he joined a family-owned window treatment business, never realizing it would become the foundation for a lifelong career - and where he would eventually meet his future wife and business partner, Michelle. What started as stocking shelves and working in the warehouse of a small storefront operation evolved into a 35+ year career with a company that grew into an industry leader in the window treatment industry.

Over the years, Dominique became deeply involved in nearly every operational aspect of the business, including ordering, logistics, product analysis, inventory management, and product development. His attention to detail and behind-the-scenes expertise helped ensure projects were executed smoothly, efficiently, and with the highest level of quality and care.

After decades immersed in the fast-paced demands of the industry, Dominique and Michelle made the decision to step away and create something more personal - a boutique-style company focused on exceptional service, quality craftsmanship, and meaningful relationships within their community.
